TelegramWhat’s new with the One UI 5.0 beta 4:

The ability to add/remove Favorites and Recent features in the Gallery app has been added. The company has also fixed the bug that caused the Sleep Mode to be automatically activated. Some users also reported that the beep and vibration would remain active indefinitely, which was resolved by this update.

Additionally, a few users lamented that their devices would crash whenever they opened an app folder, changed wallpapers, or used the S Pen’s Air Command feature (on the Galaxy S22 Ultra). The Object Eraser feature wasn’t functioning properly for some users. When using the home gesture, some users complained that the haptic feedback feature was inoperable. All of those bugs have also been fixed.

But it’s unfortunate that Samsung has removed the multi-user feature. The company finally added the feature we had been waiting for all these years with One UI 5.0 beta 1, but it has since been taken out.

We’re not sure if the business will re-add it in the upcoming update. It has been resolved that the widget frame would sometimes break when being added to the home screen.

Also, Samsung has officially stated that some bugs are still unresolved, but the next update will be fixed it. When using Samsung DeX, these problems include a locked phone screen and a black screen on the monitor. Some users claimed that when attempting to open a file received using Quick Share from the pop-up menu, the Galaxy S22 displays an “unable to open file” pop-up.

Galaxy S22 series

Samsung began its One UI 5.0 beta journey with the Galaxy S22 series, and many Galaxy smartphones have since joined the party. However, the most well-known flagship Galaxy S22 series has become the first device to reach the closest race track for a stable update. According to reports, Samsung has begun distributing the latest or One UI 5.0 beta 5 update for the Galaxy S22 series.

The latest One UI beta 5 update for Galaxy S22 series users has arrived in China, with other regions such as the United States, Europe, India, and others following suit in the coming days. The beta update removed some features from your device while also making numerous improvements to the stable rollout process.

The One UI 5.0 beta 5 update, which is based on Android 13, has a new build number ZVJA and a small download size of approximately 472MB for the Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone. The Galaxy S22 and S22+ have also received this beta update. TelegramGalaxy S22 One UI 5.0 beta 5 update removes Bixby Text Call and fixes a number of bugs:

According to Samsung’s official changelog, the company has fixed a number of bugs, including those that caused the Galaxy Watch plugin to be forcibly closed, camera autofocus failure and subpar image quality, and phone restarts.

Additionally, the new One UI 5.0 beta 5 firmware resolves a problem that prevented users from adding fingerprints. The absence of the phone unlock sound was another issue that some people brought up, but Samsung has now addressed it in the most recent update.

Furthermore, incomplete wallpaper, the absence of the Close All option in the multitasking menu, and the app is forced to close when editing images were among the other issues. The voice was also loud even after the call volume was reduced. These problems have been fixed.

According to Samsung, the new One UI 5.0 beta 5 update no longer includes the Bixby Text Call feature. The last week announced Bixby Text Call feature employs AI to translate voice (during the call) to text and displays it on the screen. The user can then reply to the caller by typing a text, and Bixby will translate that text into audio and transmit it to the caller. In this manner, a user can participate in a voice call without speaking or listening.

Additionally, reports state that the new One UI 5.0 beta version has smoother animations. The frame drops appear to have diminished, and the animations are comparable to those of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 running One UI 4.1.1.
