Samsung’s new TWS earbuds are ready to debut in the market with the name of the Galaxy Buds 2. These earbuds will be launched by the company on August 11 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. So far we have the Galaxy Buds 2 leaked specifications, pricing details and rendering image but now the live image of these earbuds has leaked.
Actually, the image of Buds 2 has been released under the unboxing video, which has been issued by Twitter user @AhmedQwaider888. Ahmed has also shared these images in his Facebook post by mentioning sorry to Samsung. Under these images we will get to see the retail packaging, charging case and the actual buds’ design.
However, we didn’t get to see much inside the Galaxy Buds 2 retail box. But we have found the actual design of these earbuds. The design of the Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds is very similar to the leaked renders and there is no significant difference between the reality and image.
Also, Ahmed has shared his experience of Galaxy Buds 2 and saying that seems like the battery of these earbuds has provided four to five hours of playback time without the charging case and up to 20 hours with one. According to the information, the Galaxy Buds 2 will come with active noise cancellation and it has the ability to turn ANC on and off. However, no information about the Galaxy Buds 2 has been shared on the Galaxy Wearable app yet. As per the leaks, the earbuds will pack with a 472mAh battery and each earbud will carry 61mAh battery life.
Furthermore, the recent leaks suggested that the earbuds will be worked for 20 hours when the ANC is enabled and if you turn off the ANC then you don’t need to charge it, at least 29 hours. Along with this, Galaxy Buds 2 will offer you 1 hour of playback time on a 5-minute charge.
Although, the Galaxy Buds 2 will feature at least two microphones, an IR-based wear detection sensor, and pogo connectors for charging. According to the FCC certification, the wireless earbuds support Bluetooth 5.2 with AAC, SBC, and SSC codecs, AKG-tuned audio, capacitive touch controls, wireless charging, and a companion app for customizing controls and audio profiles.

Until now, Samsung mainly provided DIY repair options for its regular smartphones, tablets, and laptops. However, when it came to the more intricate foldable models like the Galaxy Fold and Flip, the company limited users to professional repair services due to the complexity of these devices.
Now, in a noteworthy move, Samsung is expanding its DIY repair support to include its foldable models, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. This means users will soon have the option to tackle repairs at home, marking a shift in Samsung’s approach to empower users in maintaining and fixing their foldable devices.
This development follows Google’s recent introduction of DIY repair options for its Pixel Fold, though it’s worth noting that repair parts for the Pixel Fold can be relatively expensive, such as the inner screen alone costing $900. Huawei’s big boss just hinted at exciting new things for their software in 2024! Expect fresh products built on their latest HarmonyOS NEXT system.
During the Fan Club (Pollen) Annual Conference 2023, Yu Chengdong announced that Huawei plans to reveal several advanced products next year. He also predicted the launch of HarmonyOS NEXT products and improved native application experiences in 2024.
The CEO didn’t share when exactly the new software and native applications would be released, but we can anticipate the official reveal to happen in early 2024.
Huawei needs to make HarmonyOS fully independent and essential without relying on Android libraries soon. Hopefully, the company will speed up its efforts in the coming days.
Many app developers, such as Alipay, McDonald’s, HiPaint, Bank of Communications, and others, have joined native app development for HarmonyOS. The goal is to create a strong app ecosystem independent of Android and iOS.
Huawei is set to offer HarmonyOS-based courses, with approval for 55 projects and over 10 universities planning to launch these courses soon.
