Huawei is preparing to launch its so many devices in the market and the company will hold three launch conferences between May to June 2021. Now according to the report, the Huawei MatePad 2 series and Huawei Watch 3 series may be launch on June 02 while the launch poster has also out on the internet. But the company has not provided any information about this matter, so you can take this news just like a pinch of salt.

Moreover, Huawei MatePad 2 series and Huawei Watch 3 will launch with HarmonyOS 2.0 stable form and both series will be helped the HarmonyOS 2.0 to debut in the market.

In the above paragraph, we said that the Huawei MatePad 2 code name “Marx 2”, and MatePad Pro 2 model number Wagner will be launch on June 02 but the company has not announced any details on its side. Just like that rumored have revealed that the Huawei MatePad 2 series and Huawei Watch 3 series will go on sale on June 10, 2021.

The Huawei MatePad variants (MatePad 2 and MatePad Pro 2) to come with a 12.2” and 12.6” 120 Hz panel. The 12.9” model will be powered by Kirin 9000 and will run “PadOS”, a custom version of Harmony for tablets. Based on data from the 3C, the tablet will support 40W wired and 27W wireless charging. There should be a 5G version as well.

As per the report, Huawei’s upcoming tablet MatePad 2 Pro will launch with two screen sizes the first is a 12.2-inch display from BOE to and the second variant is a 12.6-inch screen from the Samsung version. Also, the MatePad 2 series will come with a new smart feature and users will enjoy it with a large screen display.

The Huawei HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system comes with a smoother experience and the OS changes some features of tablets like in the UI (user interface), adding a control center, super terminal, etc. In this line, the Huawei MatePad 2 series will come with little different features and UI compared to the previous Huawei tablet. As per the report of the previous news, Huawei Watch 3 will come with a round shape dial, pre-installed Hongmeng OS with new features, supports the eSIM feature, multi-device transfer for IoT connections and more.

Apart from this, the Huawei Watch 3 capable to install more third-party apps, health-related features, different kinds of sports modes, a number of AI features, and more.

Now after installing the HarmonyOS 2.0 in the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro it will come slightly different from Watch GT 2 series. Also, the HarmonyOS provide more application with consuming less battery power, which means the smartwatch will provide a longer battery life. Also, Huawei has said that at the end of the year minimum of 300 million devices will receive the HarmonyOS 2.0.

Huawei’s big boss just hinted at exciting new things for their software in 2024! Expect fresh products built on their latest HarmonyOS NEXT system.

During the Fan Club (Pollen) Annual Conference 2023, Yu Chengdong announced that Huawei plans to reveal several advanced products next year. He also predicted the launch of HarmonyOS NEXT products and improved native application experiences in 2024.

The CEO didn’t share when exactly the new software and native applications would be released, but we can anticipate the official reveal to happen in early 2024.

Huawei needs to make HarmonyOS fully independent and essential without relying on Android libraries soon. Hopefully, the company will speed up its efforts in the coming days.

Many app developers, such as Alipay, McDonald’s, HiPaint, Bank of Communications, and others, have joined native app development for HarmonyOS. The goal is to create a strong app ecosystem independent of Android and iOS.

Huawei is set to offer HarmonyOS-based courses, with approval for 55 projects and over 10 universities planning to launch these courses soon.

Huawei plans to introduce apps in more than 18 categories, focusing on digital and financial sectors. According to Yu Chengdong, these native HarmonyOS applications aim to be smoother, smarter, safer, and more comprehensive compared to iOS and Android.

These Huawei Smartwatches Will Be Updated to HarmonyOS 4 in 2024

Huawei has announced a new rollout schedule for HarmonyOS 4 in Q1 2024, as several smartwatches are still waiting for the major software update.

Huawei released HarmonyOS 4 in early August, with new features and capabilities. The company initially announced a beta program for the Huawei Watch 4 series and completed the stable rollout to all users on November 1st.

The Huawei Watch GT 4 is the first Huawei smartwatch to come with HarmonyOS 4 pre-installed. Customers of this wearable get all of the new features out of the box. The latest super-premium Watch Ultimate Design still runs HarmonyOS 3, but it will also be updated to HarmonyOS 4 in Q1 2024.
