On October 9, Huawei Home Storage received the HarmonyOS 4.2.0.31 upgrade. This new version primarily focuses on enhancing the stability of WeChat backup and recovery, ensuring smoother and more reliable data management for users.

When paired with mobile phones or tablets running HarmonyOS 4.2 or higher, this functionality allows users to seamlessly back up their WeChat data, providing a more secure and convenient data management experience.

Huawei launched its first HarmonyOS home data center, Huawei Home Storage , in 2022 , offering 4TB, 16TB, and diskless versions. Huawei Home Storage also supports self-configuration, with a maximum support of 40TB of storage (20TB+20TB).
