Huawei Band 7 August 2022 update

Huawei is continuously rolling out the HarmonyOS 3.0 beta update to eligible devices, but other devices have also received the new firmware update with new features and optimizations. Now it’s time for Huawei’s fitness band and Huawei Band 7 users are now receiving the October 2022 firmware update, which includes the new Wechat feature as well as a useful enhancement.

According to reports, Huawei Band 7 users in China have begun receiving the new firmware update with the latest build 2.0.0.50(M03), with an installation size of 9.79MB. This version includes the new WeChat video calls, SMS, and Calls reminder feature, but please keep in mind that this function is not available for all devices; it is only available for HarmonyOS 2.0 and Android 10 or higher devices.

Aside from that, the update includes the smart flash card function, which supports your smartphone through the Health app to find your fitness band. In addition, it optimizes the detection function of heart rate and blood oxygen-related data.

Among them, when using the band to swipe the card, users can automatically match and quickly evoke the corresponding card in the corresponding scene via the smart flash card function.

It should be noted that in mainland China, the smart flash card function is only supported by the NFC version and must be enabled in the “Wallet” function of the “Health” app (only EMUI, HarmonyOS, and Android phones support this function). To locate the bracelet on your smartphone, go to the “Health” app > Devices > HUAWEI Band 7 > Find Devices.

The company has been teasing the launch of this new operating system for a while now, and it’s expected to come with exciting new features and improvements. People are eagerly looking forward to the release to see what HarmonyOS 4.0 has to offer!

Some of the new features that have been rumored to be included in HarmonyOS 4.0 include:

  • Improved performance and battery life
  • New multitasking features
  • Enhanced security and privacy
  • Support for new devices, such as smartwatches and TVs

Huawei has not yet released any official details about HarmonyOS 4.0, so we will have to wait until the official announcement to see what the new operating system has to offer. However, the company has said that it is designed to be “more personalized, more fun, and more innovative” than previous versions of HarmonyOS.

I am excited to see what Huawei has in store for us with HarmonyOS 4.0. It has the potential to be a major competitor to Android and iOS, and I am eager to see how it performs.

Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei’s consumer business, also said earlier that the car-machine system of Hongmeng 4.0 will be launched this fall, which can realize multi-person, multi-device, multi-screen and multi-audio zones. Avita’s new car and Wenjie M9 will be equipped.
