Huawei P40 series HarmonyOS 2.0 update brings quick download icon, task center, voice function and more

The Chinese tech giant Huawei has started kicking off the new firmware update for the Huawei P40 series users in China and the update has added a number of new features and advantage.
According to the rollout status, this new version is based on HarmonyOS 2.0 and the users of all the models under the P40 series now grabs quick download icons, task centers, optimize voice functions and more.
As per the build, the Huawei P40 series users have now been able to install the upgraded version of HarmonyOS 2.0 which is 2.0.0.209 while the installation size is 1.10GB. Notably, this update is pushing out in batches so it will take a little time to reach your device, wait with patience.
Of course, this upgrade is exclusively for Chinese customers, since the global variants of the P40 series are still running Huawei’s Emotion UI – EMUI 11, and there is no information on when the new OS will be available to them. This latest software release includes enhancements to the service center, as well as cross-device task management, Celia keyboard, and system stability improvements to ensure a consistent user experience across all devices.
