This function may be found in the settings of the personal security app if the user has a Pixel phone. The user must press the phone’s power button five times to activate the emergency function. SOS can do other things according to the user’s settings, including dialing 911, choosing to play (or not) the alarm sound when activated, or sharing information with the user’s emergency contact.
In the early beta version of Android 12, Google tested a version of Emergency SOS for other phones. However, for the time being, this app and function are only available on Pixel phones.
