Report: Huawei P50 series and MatePad 11 will launch between July to August, with two new features of HarmonyOS
Earlier this month, the Chinese brand Huawei has shown the images and teaser video of Huawei MatePad 11 and Huawei P50 series respectively. But the company has not shared any other information like specifications, launch date and other things.
Moreover, in the previous time, we have seen lots of leaks about the Huawei P50 series and the teaser video has confirmed the design and camera setup is the same as the leaks. Also, the P50 series will launch with three models namely Huawei P50, P50 Pro and P50 Pro Plus.
On the other side, Huawei MatePad 11 tablet recently spotted on Huawei’s official German website with all the key factors and price details. According to the listing, the upcoming tablet will not support cellular connectivity while it comes with the WI-FI segment.

Now the weibo digital blogger Huawei Fans has disclosed the launch information of MatePad 11 and the Huawei P50 series. According to the information, the company has internally confirmed both devices will launch between July and August 2021 but the company has not selected a specific date yet.
Moreover, the users will surely get some surprises with both devices. The report has indicated that the Huawei P50 series will launch with two new exciting features of Harmony OS. On the other hand, users will get unexpected surprises in the pricing of Huawei MatePad 11. Although, Huawei MatePad 11 and Huawei P50 series flagship devices will be launched with pre-installed HarmonyOS 2.0.
HUAWEI P50 SERIES CAMERA DESGIN:
The Huawei P50 series will come with a vertical-sized large camera setup with two circular frequency setups and adjusting the camera lens inside them. In the first circle which is the top one, we have seen three camera lenses including such as Ultra vision camera and Cine camera.
In the second bottom circle, we see a camera lens with an LED flash and one more LED flash has been adjusted between these two circles of vertical shape.
Moreover, a slightly below in the camera setup we have been seen Lecia branding which is the partner of the Chinese tech giant Huawei smartphone since a very long time.
HUAWEI P50 SERIES BODY DESIGN:
The Huawei P50 series will come with a glassy look and a gold color that looks more shiny and attractive. The smartphone has a curved edge back panel that covered all four corners of the smartphone. The smartphone has a premium and luxurious look with a metal frame instead of aluminum.

On the right side of the smartphone, it has a metal material volume rocker key with a new power key which is provided a red alert when your device on or off. On the top side, the design includes a secondary mic, IR blaster as well as secondary speaker set.

The upcoming MatePad 11 tablet will feature an 11-inch display with a 120 Hz FullView screen, supports the second-generation Huawei M-Pen, is equipped with four-channel four-speakers, and is dual-certified by TÃœV Rheinland.
Huawei MatePad 11 is equipped with a 2K high-brush LCD screen, with 60/120Hz two gear options, Snapdragon 865 chip, has a WiFi network which does not support data Network.

Huawei’s big boss just hinted at exciting new things for their software in 2024! Expect fresh products built on their latest HarmonyOS NEXT system.
During the Fan Club (Pollen) Annual Conference 2023, Yu Chengdong announced that Huawei plans to reveal several advanced products next year. He also predicted the launch of HarmonyOS NEXT products and improved native application experiences in 2024.
The CEO didn’t share when exactly the new software and native applications would be released, but we can anticipate the official reveal to happen in early 2024.
Huawei needs to make HarmonyOS fully independent and essential without relying on Android libraries soon. Hopefully, the company will speed up its efforts in the coming days.
Many app developers, such as Alipay, McDonald’s, HiPaint, Bank of Communications, and others, have joined native app development for HarmonyOS. The goal is to create a strong app ecosystem independent of Android and iOS.
Huawei is set to offer HarmonyOS-based courses, with approval for 55 projects and over 10 universities planning to launch these courses soon.
Huawei plans to introduce apps in more than 18 categories, focusing on digital and financial sectors. According to Yu Chengdong, these native HarmonyOS applications aim to be smoother, smarter, safer, and more comprehensive compared to iOS and Android.

These Huawei Smartwatches Will Be Updated to HarmonyOS 4 in 2024
Huawei has announced a new rollout schedule for HarmonyOS 4 in Q1 2024, as several smartwatches are still waiting for the major software update.
Huawei released HarmonyOS 4 in early August, with new features and capabilities. The company initially announced a beta program for the Huawei Watch 4 series and completed the stable rollout to all users on November 1st.
The Huawei Watch GT 4 is the first Huawei smartwatch to come with HarmonyOS 4 pre-installed. Customers of this wearable get all of the new features out of the box. The latest super-premium Watch Ultimate Design still runs HarmonyOS 3, but it will also be updated to HarmonyOS 4 in Q1 2024.
Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro, which are relatively new, will receive the HarmonyOS 4 upgrade. This includes special edition and limited edition smartwatches as well. You can check the full list of eligible smartwatches getting this update in early 2024.
