Huawei Sound X smart speaker receiving a new update with V9.0.8.1 (H100SP11C00)
In the month of July 2020, Huawei has produced the first smart speaker in the market with the name of the Huawei Sound X. The smart speaker builds a rich environment of sound for you to experience.
Huawei Sound X is fitted with six powerful tweeters that utilize our HUAWEI Sound algorithm to produce stunning surround sound, creating a tremendous sense of space. HUAWEI Sound X harnesses the power of Devialet’s Speaker Active Matching (SAM) technology, which tailors sound to the characteristics of the speakers.
Since the launch, the Chinese tech era has provided lots of firmware update with improvements, bug fixes, new features and more. Now again, Huawei is moving forward and started delivering the latest firmware update for the Huawei Sound X.
The all-new firmware update comes with version number 9.0.8.1 (H100SP11C00) and it is improved some functions as well as fixes some known issue bugs which are optimized speaker stability. Below you can check the changelog.

Huawei’s official website has updated the process for canceling the HarmonyOS NEXT system pollen/public beta upgrade. It now supports deleting the system installation package and stopping the update push. Details are as follows:
Delete the new system installation package

Go to Settings > Apps and Services > App Management > Software Update > Storage , tap ” Delete Data ” and ” Clear Cache “
Cancel new system push

If users do not want to receive HarmonyOS NEXT version push, they need to go to My Huawei App to cancel the registration

How to use: Go to ” My Huawei App > Home > Upgrade and Try > (Multi-device Try) Upgrade and Try “, select the device that has registered for the event, click the ” Cancel Registration ” button at the bottom right of the page, a pop-up window will pop up to confirm the cancellation, click ” Canceling “, and the registration status will be displayed as ” Canceling “

The cancellation of registration is expected to take effect within 3 working days . After it takes effect, the registration status on my Huawei App registration page will be displayed as ” Cancelled “, and you will no longer receive HarmonyOS NEXT version push.
