Huawei has launched its next operating version HarmonyOS 2.0 in the month of December last year. As per the previous report, the company has officially released its HarmonyOS 2.0 beta program registration on Huawei’s official website.

Now the one hottest news come out on the internet, the well-known Weibo tipster, Changan Digital King informed that Huawei has started releasing the HarmonyOS Beta 3.0 update in the place of the HarmonyOS Beta 2.0 system.

Moreover, those smartphone users and developers have received this update who have complete the testing of the internal beta update. The Weibo tipster has also provided the changelog of the HarmonyOS Beta 3.0.

According to @FixedFocus, the adaptation has begun, with some development feedback appearing on the official community. It appears the flagship lineup is nearing the completion of this adaptation.

Huawei Unveils HarmonyOS NEXT Beta at HDC 2024

At the HDC 2024 event, Huawei introduced the HarmonyOS NEXT beta. The company also initiated developer beta testing for three major devices: the Mate 60 Pro, the Mate X5 foldable, and the MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet.

Despite the focus on premium models, Pura 70 smartphones are also included in the HarmonyOS NEXT developer beta testing. Initially, the official timeline indicated that this lineup would receive the developer beta in August.

Huawei has already started adapting HarmonyOS NEXT for the Pura 70 series, with the process now underway for these top-end handsets.

Apart from the Pura devices, the roadmap includes the Pocket 2 series, MatePad Pro 11 2024, and FreeBuds Pro 3 in the beta list for August. Huawei may soon start software adaptation for these models.

The Pura 70 series is preparing for the HarmonyOS NEXT beta version, with the stable build expected in Q4 2024 as part of the first batch of devices.

The tipster previously reported that the HarmonyOS NEXT public beta development is complete and has entered stability testing for device compatibility. Huawei may soon start this testing with the Pura 70 models.
