Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G getting July 2021 patch in the US
The South Korean tech giant Samsung released the Galaxy Note 10 series two years ago with One UI based on Android 9 Pie. Last year, the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ received the Android 10-based One UI 2 update, and in December 2020, the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update.
The device will also receive the Android 12 upgrade, which will be based on One UI 4.0, later this year or early next year. Now, on to the security patch: the worldwide variations of the Galaxy Note 10 series have already received the July 2021 security patch, while the unlocked models of the Galaxy Note 10 have received it in the US after a few days. However, only the carrier-locked Galaxy Note 10+ 5G will receive this update at this time.
The all-new firmware update indicates the July 2021 security patch and the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G on T-network Mobile’s received it with the new version number N976USQU5EUF1. According to the report, this patch update addresses 20 privacy and security flaws.
