Huawei Mate 80 Pro’s Unique Camera Setup Appears in Leak

The Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ had a square camera with four lenses. But a new live image suggests the Mate 80 Pro is getting a major redesign.
New imagery purportedly showcasing the Huawei Mate 80 series has surfaced online, courtesy of Weibo leaker @DirectorShiGuan. The leak includes a photo revealing the back panel designs for the entire lineup—the standard Mate 80, and two Pro variants—as well as additional images highlighting the available color options.”
In a departure from tradition, a new leak shows the Huawei Mate 80 Pro ditching the signature circular camera ring that typically houses a square sensor arrangement.”
In accordance with the image, the camera setup is surrounded by a stainless steel-like thick rim. This rim has a small black buckle at the top, probably having a sensor.
The camera island is organized with a primary large square sensor at the top center, accompanied by two pill-shaped sensors for enhanced light and color capture. The lower section is dedicated to two additional lenses in circular housings.

These could be the main and ultrawide snapper. The giant lens at the top can be a brand-new periscope camera with staggering imaging features. But the details are unknown at present.
A standout lemon yellow color option is shown off in the second leak. The images also confirm the side button layout: two volume rockers with a power button underneath.
The overall design remains unchanged, keeping the classic right-angle frame, slim build, and curved corners. Nevertheless, it’s unclear how accurate these new leaked features are, even if the camera redesign appears promising.”

Huawei Mate 70 Premium: Powered by an Optimized Kirin Chip.

The Huawei Mate 70 Premium is gearing up for its launch, and the buzz is all about its processor! Fresh online leaks suggest this isn’t just another Kirin chip, but something new. Let’s dive into the details.
In accordance with SuperDimensional, the Huawei Mate 70 Premium will use a processor that recently debuted in a tablet, where it has demonstrated capable and efficient performance.
The details are now clear. The chip is the Kirin 9010B, and its first launch platform was the specialized MatePad Mini Reading model. This strategic move introduces a new variant, as the standard tablet is equipped with the Kirin 9010.
So, what’s actually under the hood of the Kirin 9010B? We don’t have the full CPU blueprint yet, but it’s already looking like it might be faster than the chip in the Pura 70 Ultra. Stay tuned—the details should be dropping any day now!

Huawei
The leak introduces a key variable, suggesting the Mate 70 Premium may feature either the Kirin 9010B or a 9010S chipset. While both variants represent a significant performance uplift over the standard Kirin 9010, the specific model destined for the phone remains unconfirmed.
Hence, we have to wait for some more time to get accurate information on this subject.
The leaks keep coming! A tipster just spilled details on the Pura X Premium’s chipset, and it looks like the company is building a whole new series focused on premium specs without the premium price tag.
The upcoming Pura X Premium will likely use the Kirin 9020A chipset, a step up from the original’s 9020 5G, similar to the processor in the Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition.
Official announcements for this month are still pending, but details are beginning to emerge about the company’s approaching new handset.
