Galaxy S25 FE Camera Leaks: What to Expect

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 FE won’t have many big upgrades, except for one significant camera improvement.
The Galaxy S20 FE kicked off the popular ‘Fan Edition’ series, but subsequent models have only seen minor updates.”
Pictures of the Galaxy S25 FE have already appeared online, and it looks pretty much the same as older models. So, don’t expect a new look. But, we might still get at least one improved feature this year.”
The Galaxy S25 FE will feature a familiar vertical triple-camera setup. Don’t expect big surprises here, as rumors point to the same cameras: a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (meaning steadier photos), an 8-megapixel camera for 3x zoom, and a 12-megapixel camera for wide-angle pictures.
You know how Samsung often keeps things similar? Well, the main cameras on the back of the S25 FE are staying the same. The real news is that the front-facing camera is getting a boost, going from 10MP to 12MP, so your selfies should look even sharper.”
Upgrading a front camera is quite a niche choice because the FE series has a user base that prioritizes selfies. More pixels mean better image composition, and its users may end up appreciating this new lens.
While the Galaxy S25 FE will have the same processor as before, Samsung is giving it some great upgrades: a larger battery and much faster 45W charging. You can expect this phone to launch pretty soon.

Galaxy Watch owners: that annoying WhatsApp bug is finally gone.

WhatsApp has been malfunctioning on Wear OS smartwatches, showing a message that tells users to update the app through the Play Store.
Users of Wear OS, including the Galaxy Watch, reported an issue where WhatsApp erroneously displayed an “obsolete” notification, incorrectly indicating a required update despite the application being current.
The problem was common across many Wear OS watches, including those from Samsung and OnePlus. It also didn’t depend on the software version, as users on different updates all experienced it.
This severe bug rendered WhatsApp useless on smartwatches as users were not able to open the app due to the notice. It seems the problem has been resolved and everything’s back to the typical working status.
While the bug prevented users from opening the WhatsApp app directly, the service continued to function in the background. Notifications worked normally, so users could still receive and reply to messages.

Following user reports, WhatsApp quickly issued a fix on the Play Store. Updating to the latest version resolves the problem. You can use the original notice to complete the update.
The update is rolling out gradually, so you might get it later than others. You can check manually in the Play Store, or try reinstalling the app to force the latest version.

Samsung’s 200MP Camera: Coming to a Galaxy Phone?

Samsung has introduced a new 200MP camera sensor called the ISOCELL HP5. Despite its high resolution, it is very small. This means phone brands can use it as a powerful main or telephoto camera without making the phone’s camera bump any larger.
The new ISOCELL HP5 sensor is anticipated to debut in phones from Chinese OEMs such as OPPO and realme. These brands, known for their camera-centric strategies, are the most likely early adopters of Samsung’s latest imaging technology.
In accordance with reports, a key strategic decision is at play: Samsung will apparently not utilize its own new ISOCELL HP5 sensor in Galaxy devices for the time being. The company is instead reportedly maintaining its supply chain relationship with Sony by continuing to use the IMX854.

Galaxy S26 Ultra
The ISOCELL HP5 sensor has some interesting features. It can zoom in 2 times without losing picture quality. If combined with a 3x telephoto lens, the zoom can go up to 6 times.
Samsung has also incorporated new technologies to help the sensor capture more light, resulting in brighter photos, more accurate colors, and superior clarity.
In spite of mass-producing the HP5 sensor, Samsung is currently allocating it exclusively to other phone brands. As a result, anyone hoping to see this 200MP camera in a Galaxy device will likely be disappointed.
