The Huawei Pura 80 series is indeed a hot topic, especially with its official launch confirmed for June 11, 2025, at 2:30 PM Beijing time. This event will not only unveil the new Pura 80 smartphones but also a suite of other smart products, running on HarmonyOS 5.Pura 80 Pro
Recent leaks have specifically focused on the vibrant color options for the high-end Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ variants. It seems Huawei is aiming for a premium aesthetic, possibly using ceramic or glossy glass-like materials for the back panels.
Leaked images show the Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ will come in bright, premium colors. It looks like Huawei is using fancy materials like ceramic or shiny glass for the back.
 In accordance with leaks, the Huawei Pura 80 Pro will come in three fancy colors: Glaze White, Glaze Black, and Glaze Gold.
For the Pura 80 Pro+ (the even higher-end model), you will have more choices, with at least five new colors: Black, Gold, White, Red, and Green.
Huawei says “Glaze” for the Pura 80 series, it just means the phones will have a really shiny, clear surface on the back. They probably used glossy glass or ceramic to give it that fancy, reflective look.
The color details for the standard and the Ultra variant are unknown at the moment. Although Huawei may officially announce the color variants of the Pura 80 series in the coming days.
The most exciting one, the Pura 70 Ultra, stands out with a huge camera area on the back. It even has a special “XMAGE” badge for its camera tech and a stylish checkered pattern made of leather.
The other models in the series also have a sleek, shimmery finish, giving them a really attractive appearance.
The color variants of the Pura 70 series handsets are:

Huawei is integrating its connectivity technologies directly into the HarmonyOS 6 user interface. The company has officially detailed a new Control Center toggle that lets the system intelligently switch between the high-bandwidth of NearLink and the broad compatibility of Bluetooth, creating a single, unified wireless experience.
In accordance with the previous details, the HarmonyOS 6.0 NearLink & Bluetooth  switch will show up in the Control Center. It merges two different features into one tab.
Earlier, the functions of this feature were unclear. But Huawei revealed the details of this NearLink + Bluetooth button. The company mentioned the following points:

- When a NearLink device is connected, the Control Center will display the name of the respective NearLink device.

 To manage both NearLink and Bluetooth devices, simply press and hold the “NearLink | Bluetooth” switch.
This new feature merges both tools into one, letting you connect to nearby devices effortlessly and without interruption.

The Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ had a square camera with four lenses. But a new live image suggests the Mate 80 Pro is getting a major redesign.
New imagery purportedly showcasing the Huawei Mate 80 series has surfaced online, courtesy of Weibo leaker @DirectorShiGuan. The leak includes a photo revealing the back panel designs for the entire lineup—the standard Mate 80, and two Pro variants—as well as additional images highlighting the available color options.”
In a departure from tradition, a new leak shows the Huawei Mate 80 Pro ditching the signature circular camera ring that typically houses a square sensor arrangement.”
In accordance with the image, the camera setup is surrounded by a stainless steel-like thick rim. This rim has a small black buckle at the top, probably having a sensor.
The camera island is organized with a primary large square sensor at the top center, accompanied by two pill-shaped sensors for enhanced light and color capture. The lower section is dedicated to two additional lenses in circular housings.

These could be the main and ultrawide snapper. The giant lens at the top can be a brand-new periscope camera with staggering imaging features. But the details are unknown at present.
A standout lemon yellow color option is shown off in the second leak. The images also confirm the side button layout: two volume rockers with a power button underneath.
The overall design remains unchanged, keeping the classic right-angle frame, slim build, and curved corners. Nevertheless, it’s unclear how accurate these new leaked features are, even if the camera redesign appears promising.”
