Samsung has started rolling out the April 2022 Android security patch update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone users.

Right now a user in our Samsung Galaxy S22 Facebook group shared with us his update from South Korea We expect the April 2022 security patch details to be revealed in a couple of weeks. However, it is clear that there will be fixes for various CVEs and SVEs from Google and Samsung.

Galaxy Note 20 & Note 20 Ultra Get August 2025 Security Patch

Good news for Galaxy Note 20 users! Samsung is starting to release the August 2025 security patch, with Verizon users in the US being the first to get it. Keep an eye out for it on your device if you’re with another carrier.
The August 2025 patch resolves a total of 29 vulnerabilities within the Android OS, consisting of one critical-severity issue and 28 high-risk issues. Furthermore, it addresses 18 separate “Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures” (SVE) that are specific to Galaxy devices.
