Samsung foldable FE FCC approved

Samsung is launching new fold phones soon. They will show off the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and a cheaper “FE” foldable. The Galaxy Z Flip FE just got approved by the FCC (a government group).
Samsung’s new “FE” foldable phone will be cheaper. This phone (called SM-F761U) just got approved by the US government on June 9th.
This means it’s ready to be sold in America.
The new Galaxy Z Flip FE will have really fast internet (Wi-Fi 6e).
It will also work with lots of 5G networks, so you will get fast mobile internet. You can charge it without plugging it in (wireless charging).
It has a feature called NFC, which means you can use it to pay with Google Pay or Samsung Pay.
Besides the other new phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 also got a green light from the FCC (meaning it can be sold). This happened on June 6. The Fold 7 will feature special tech like Ultra-Wideband (UWB), super fast Wi-Fi (6e), and a Qualcomm processor.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip

Galaxy G Fold: Samsung Has It, But Why No Release?

Guess what? Samsung has been quietly working on a three-screen foldable phone, maybe called the Galaxy G Fold, and it’s basically finished! But they’re holding off on launching it until they’re sure people actually want a phone that folds like that.
A Samsung executive told Android Authority that they’ve actually had a triple-folding phone designed for a while. The big question for them now is whether people would actually want to buy a phone that folds like that. They are basically trying to figure out if there’s enough demand for this kind of device.
While company executives refrain from revealing a potential launch timeline, earlier reports suggest the Galaxy G Fold could enter production in September 2025, with a limited launch in China and South Korea in Q4 2025.

Galaxy G Fold
Samsung is going to try out its triple-screen folding phone in a few markets first to see if people like it. This phone will likely have a hefty price tag of around $3,000, which is more than their current Galaxy Z Fold 7. To give you an idea, Huawei’s triple-fold phone, the Mate XT, costs about $2,800.
Huawei’s Mate XT folds outwards in an “S” shape, but Samsung’s new G-shaped design folds inwards. This means Samsung’s phone keeps its screens safer when folded, but it needs an extra screen on the outside to use when closed.
We got a sneak peek of the Galaxy G Fold when the S25 series launched earlier in 2025. But it was missing from the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 event. Now, leaked software animations from One UI 8 reveal its design, which includes three cameras on the left.
The foldable phone market is tricky right now, and Samsung is being careful. They are releasing their triple-screen phone in only a few places to see if there’s enough excitement for it. For it to be a real success, people need to feel that a phone that folds three times is truly worth its high price tag.
