One UI 7: Surprise shift from disappointment to excitement.

Samsung surprised everyone with how fast they brought One UI 7 to many devices, which fixed a lot of disappointment.
Galaxy users everywhere with various phone models are pinched to the redesigned software. They like the new app icons, fluid animations, and better customization – something the previous software lacked.
One UI 7 is hitting all the right notes, making it possibly the best Samsung update so far. Still, there are two different angles to consider with this Android 15 version of One UI, as you’ll see below.
Disappointment:
Samsung did not show much of One UI 7 at their 2024 event, which was the first disappointment. People really wanted to try a test version (beta), but it didn’t come out until December.
For a few months, from December 2024 to March 2025, only people with the Galaxy S24 could use the beta. This left everyone else in the dark, trying to figure out when the final software would be released.
Because of this wait, millions of Galaxy phone users worldwide were let down until the middle of March. That’s when Samsung announced they would begin rolling out the stable update in early April.
Then, on April 7, One UI 7 was first released in Korea. Nevertheless , it had a serious issue and stopped being distributed just two days later.
The media headlines sent loud report through the internet and booted as this update as the most problematic software. Eventually, Samsung recovered from this setback and resumed the expand of the S24 series, Fold 6 and Flip 6 devices in the same month.

Excitement:
Samsung reached a big point last week. They ended the test period for the S23 phones and gave the finished software to all users globally.
The extend is still going on, and the Galaxy S22 and S21 also started receiving the update in the last two days. It’s not widely available yet, but it’s likely to reach all models globally very quickly.
Foldable as well as Fold 5, Fold 4, Fold 3, Flip 5, Flip 4 and Flip 3 as well as Galaxy Tab S8 received the update as well in Samsung’s home ground. All of this come about within a week of S23’s software release.
This speedy release of One UI 7 has made Galaxy smartphone users more interested and hopeful about the upcoming phones.

Samsung Galaxy Watch: Live Updates Coming 2025

Samsung Galaxy Watch is getting an upgrade! By late 2026, it will be able to show you ‘Live Updates’ basically, real-time info from your apps. Google spilled the beans on this at their big developer event in 2025.
Live Updates is a feature created by Google. It is already being added to phones and tablets with the Android 16 update. However, smartwatches won’t get it until next year.
Your Galaxy Watch is getting ‘Live Updates’ thanks to something called the ‘Now Bar.’ This ‘Now Bar’ is already on Samsung phones, and it’s coming to your watch later this year with the One UI 8 Watch update.”
At first, the Now Bar on smartwatches will only show updates from Samsung apps and some Google apps. Later on, it might work with more apps when new software is released.
