Huawei Mate 80: December Launch Expected

People online are talking about the Huawei Mate 80 launching in December, and this idea has been mentioned before.
Someone on Weibo says the Huawei Mate 80 series will probably launch in December. Hashtags suggest the best models will have a new, strong Kirin 5G chip that works better and saves more power.
Aside from, the input says that all of the Mate 80 smartphones will feature a flat screen instead of the curved ones. The company will integrate new display solutions to its devices but may remain confined to flat panels for upcoming handsets.
Supposedly, Huawei needs more flat screens. This suggests they might continue using them in their next devices.
Huawei Mate 80 Flagship:
They used to drop two big phone lines every year. First, around the start of the year, they’d launch their Pura (or it used to be called P) series. These phones were all about looking good and taking amazing pictures – they really bumped up the camera game.
On the flip side, the Mate models launch in the third or fourth quarter of the year, focusing on performance. The lineup introduces a new-gen Kirin chip with improved power efficiency, performance, and other functional aspects.
 Huawei Mate 80 Launch Delay:
A few revealed seepage that Huawei will postpone its flagship lineup launches this year. The latest example is the Pura 80 series , which is reported to go official in August instead of May or July. The previous-gen models debuted in April last year.
You know how the Pura phone launch might be a bit late? Well, it looks like the same thing could happen with their other big phone line, the Mate 80 series. Some early talk was that these new Mate phones might not show up until next year. But, get this, a new rumor is saying that’s not true! It is hinting that we might literally see these super powerful phones before the end of 2025.

Old Huawei MateBooks missing HarmonyOS PC upgrade.

Huawei might only offer HarmonyOS PC on their future laptops and desktops, not the older MateBooks.
But it looks like that wonotn’t be the case. Perhaps the new software will be confined only to the upcoming notebooks and PCs.
Huawei is making big improvements to its computer software so it’s similar to Windows and macOS.he company is adopting dynamic changes that can offer the best or probably the same user experience as Microsoft window and Apple macOS.
It’s disappointing, but old MateBooks won’t receive the HarmonyOS PC update, which Huawei phones do get.
Some Weibo tipsters noted that previously launched (existing) notebooks, or all-in-one PCs running other operating systems, won’t receive the upcoming HarmonyOS PC.
Huawei is now selling some 2024 MateBook laptops with Linux instead of Windows. This made some think they might upgrade older models to Linux as well.
The step hinted that Huawei has excavated Microsoft’s OS completely and can improve its old Mate Book devices with the new one.
But it is not likely to happen. Huawei may launch HarmonyOS PC with new notebooks and continue to pre-install it in future notebooks instead of upgrading older devices.
Depended on the previous launches, the company may improve its previous PCs with the Linux software system. The accuracy of the current information is still doubtful. Hence, let’s wait for the official declaration and a road map on this matter.
Like HarmonyOS NEXT, the goal of this PC software is to be safer, smarter, and run better. Huawei might introduce AI tools to help manage meetings, writing, file sharing, and note-taking.
Huawei has committed to reveal its first computer-dedicated HarmonyOS PC software in May. It will likely bring major enhancements in office work and performance.
Right now, HarmonyOS PC seems to be in public testing, according to rumors. Huawei hasn’t announced a release date yet, but we might hear more soon.

In the coming month, a Xiaomi customer service indicative disclosed that Huawei phones with HarmonyOS NEXT cannot use the Xiaomi Home app for now, but both firms are actively captivating in this development and adjustment will be completed soon.
Thus, because Xiaomi’s app is not available for Huawei phones right now, people who use Huawei phones are supporting other ways to control their smart home stuff. Some of them even asked Huawei for help. Huawei said that Xiaomi is still working on a special version of their app for HarmonyOS 5, and it might come out around June of next year.
Xiaomi is testing the app for Huawei phones now. They are working with Huawei people to let some users try it early. It is taking a while to finish because the app is big and different, so it is not released yet.
