Samsung is set to add a touch of elegance to its tablet lineup with the upcoming Galaxy Tab S9. According to reliable tipster Roland Quandt, the highly anticipated tablet will debut in a never-before-seen color: Beige. Unlike previous Samsung tablets that offered options like Gold, Mystic Bronze, and Pink Gold, the Galaxy Tab S9’s Beige variant will bring a new level of sophistication. With a shade lighter than Gold, the Beige color could resemble the captivating Starlight hue of the Apple iPad Air (2022). Get ready to experience the Galaxy Tab S9 in a fresh and luxurious Beige avatar.

Galaxy Tab S9 features

  1. Three Models: The Galaxy Tab S9 series will consist of three models: Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.
  2. Similar Design: The tablets will retain designs similar to their predecessors, maintaining a sense of familiarity.
  3. IP67 Rating: All three tablets will feature an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, providing added durability and peace of mind for those who travel or enjoy water-related activities.
  4. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy Processor: The tablets will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy processor, ensuring high performance and smooth multitasking capabilities.
  5. 45W Fast Charging: The Galaxy Tab S9 series will support 45W fast charging, allowing for quick and convenient charging.
  6. OLED Display: The base Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S8 featured LCD displays, but the Galaxy Tab S9 will introduce an upgrade to an OLED screen. This provides users with a vibrant and immersive visual experience.
  7. Unveiling: The tablets are expected to be unveiled in the second half of the year, potentially alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

According to previous information from the TUV Rheinland database, it seems that the upcoming Galaxy Tab S9+ and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will continue to feature 45W fast charging, similar to their predecessors. Despite other smartphone brands opting for faster charging speeds of up to 240W, Samsung has chosen to stick with 45W fast charging for its highest-end phones and tablets. This information suggests that the Galaxy Tab S9 lineup will not see an increase in charging speeds compared to previous models.

Both the Galaxy Tab S9+ and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will support 45W fast charging. This is similar to their predecessors, the Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, which also supported 45W fast charging.

The TUV Rheinland certification database is a reliable source of information about upcoming devices. It is not uncommon for devices to be certified for features that they do not ultimately ship with, but in this case, it is likely that the Galaxy Tab S9+ and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will indeed support 45W fast charging.

45W fast charging is a significant improvement over the 15W fast charging that was supported by the previous generation of Galaxy Tab tablets. This means that the Galaxy Tab S9+ and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will be able to charge up to twice as fast as their predecessors. This is a welcome improvement, as it will allow users to spend less time waiting for their tablets to charge.

The Galaxy Tab S9+ and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra are expected to be announced in July 2023. They are rumored to feature a number of other improvements over their predecessors, including upgraded processors, larger displays, and improved cameras.

Based on the available information and leaked renders, it appears that the Galaxy Tab S9 series will retain a similar design to the Galaxy Tab S8 series. The tablets are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy processor, offering a powerful performance. They are likely to come with options for 8GB or 12GB of RAM and storage capacities ranging from 128GB to 512GB.

The inclusion of the magnetic S Pen stylus suggests that the tablets will continue to support stylus input for enhanced productivity and creativity. The tablets are also expected to feature an OLED display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate, providing a smooth and immersive viewing experience.

In terms of audio, the Galaxy Tab S9 series is rumored to come with a quad-speaker setup, delivering high-quality sound for multimedia content.
