Samsung is preparing to launch its Galaxy S23 series with the next Unpacked event. The Galaxy S23 series will follow in the footsteps of the previous generation, with three models: the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. Meanwhile, an earlier look at the Galaxy S23 suggested that the device would have the previous generation body structure with minor changes. The latest Galaxy S23 series promotion poster now shows the launch date, pre-order information, and much more.
According to the first promotional poster shared by South Korean operator KT, the Galaxy S23, S23+ design and pre-order discount have been confirmed. That is too soon for a launch date, but we are hoping that the devices will be available sooner than the Galaxy S22 series which debuted on February 2022.
Firstly the leaked poster said that the Galaxy S23 series will launch on January 05, 2023, and the pre-orders began the same day. In addition, the KT carrier announced that Korean customers can sign up for pre-ordering the device beginning December 23. Furthermore, the deadline for signing up is January 5, 2022, and pre-booking will begin on the same day.

According to previous leaks, Samsung will improve the camera design and camera sensors in this series, which will be the most significant change to the device. The models’ appearance and body structure will retain the previous cutout, with minor changes. The Galaxy S23 series will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will run Android 13 with One UI 5.0 on top.
Furthermore, all three Galaxy S23 models will adopt the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s camera design language, with no camera bump elements and a minimalistic individual circular cutout for each rear sensor.
The leaked poster depicts the Galaxy S23 and S23+ designs, which have a glossy back panel like the Galaxy S22 series. Both models have a three-camera setup on the backside, with metal rings surrounding the camera cutout. Samsung also supports the green color options for its Galaxy S23+ smartphone.
The South Korean tech company may also offer great deals for consumers at the launch of this series. According to the poster, the first booking devices will come with a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro free or will come with lower prices depending on the region’s market.

Samsung [Samsung Newsroom Post] is taking a step towards empowering users to take control of their device maintenance, offering support for popular devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in this latest expansion.
Until now, Samsung mainly provided DIY repair options for its regular smartphones, tablets, and laptops. However, when it came to the more intricate foldable models like the Galaxy Fold and Flip, the company limited users to professional repair services due to the complexity of these devices.
