A monstrous leak fully officializes the new Pixels, just ahead of the launch
The German portal winfuture.de thought about dropping the bomb and making the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro official in Europe and published what appears to be an article based on a press release from Google.
The two highly anticipated made by Google smartphones that will update the Pixel Portfolio are a direct evolution of their predecessors, both in terms of design which has been optimized in the direction of greater refinement and in terms of performance many components have been kept unchanged, others slightly revised upwards.
Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have many things in common with each other. The first is undoubtedly the “new” SoC Google Tensor G2, developed once again with Samsung as a direct evolution of the Pixel 6 Tensor GS101, the production process is refined, passing from 5 nm to 4 nm, and the clock frequencies on the intermediate and power cores they grow slightly, although the configuration remains the same; the result should be a slightly faster and certainly more energy efficient SoC which, coupled with very fast memories (LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage space), to the Mali-G710 MC10 GPU and the Titan M2 security chip, will ensure top performance and security for both smartphones.
Other points in common can be found in the photographic sector, both front and rear: at the front, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro share a 10.8-megapixel camera with PDAF (which finally brings them face to unlock); at the rear, they share the main 50-megapixel sensor (which allows users to shoot 4K video) and the 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor.
There is also total correspondence with regard to the IP68 certification, the presence of two stereo speakers, the presence of an optical fingerprint reader under the display, support for dual SIM (nano SIM + eSIM ), the connectivity sector ( networks 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, USB-C ) and the operating system which, unsurprisingly, will be Android 13.

Google Pixel 7 Pro wants to challenge the other top-of-the-range:
The Google Pixel 7 Pro gets a decidedly more pleasing design than its predecessor, with the front glass Gorilla Glass Victus always curved but much gentler in joining the edges: underneath, it hides a flat 6.7-inch LTPO pOLED display with QHD+resolution and variable refresh rate up to 120Hz like that of its predecessor.
However, the 2022 model will have a much brighter display with a peak brightness of 1500 nit, which is in line (if not higher) than competitors in the same price range.
The photographic sector, in addition to the front camera and the two rear sensors, shared with the little brother Pixel 7, once again houses an optically stabilized 48-megapixel telephoto sensor that allows it to perform a 4.8x optical zoom (and digital up to 30x): the photographic sector of Google Pixel 7 Pro is a true top camera-phone, thanks also to the excellent quality photographic algorithms of which the Google Camera is pervaded.
The battery will be 5000mAh with support for fast charging via cable at 30W and wireless at 23W; reverse wireless charging is also present. Furthermore, on Pixel 7 Pro but also on Pixel 7 there is an ultra-energy saving mode that, if activated, allows you to reach up to 72 hours of autonomy.
Google Pixel 7 Pro expected key features:
- Dimensions: 162.9 x 76.55 x 8.9mm
- Weight: 212 grams
- Display: 6.7-inch pOLED LTPO with QHD + resolution (1440 x 3120 pixels)
- Refresh rate: variable up to 120Hz
- Form Factor: 19.5: 9
- Brightness: 1500 nit (peak)
- HDR10 +
- Protection: Corning Gorilla Glass Victus

Google Pixel 7 is still a budget smartphone:
The Google Pixel 7 also receives a design upgrade over its predecessor, with flat front glass (Gorilla Glass Victus) protecting the 6.32-inch gOLED LTPO display with FHD + resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The display is brighter (1400 nits) than the predecessor, but it is also slightly smaller, which means the smartphone will be more compact than the Pixel 6, even though the bezels around the display remain the same.
The Google Camera is undoubtedly the photographic sector’s strong point, as it uses first-rate photographic algorithms to extract the most from the two sensors (50 MP main + 12 MP ultra-wide angle) on the back.
Finally, the battery will be 4335 mAh with support for fast charging via cable at 30 W and wireless at 23 W, as well as reverse wireless charging; in terms of capacity, we take a step back from the Pixel 6, but it is hoped that the new SoC will significantly improve the situation. There is also an ultra-energy-saving mode here.
Google Pixel 7 expected key features:
- Dimensions: 155.64 x 73.16 x 8.7mm
- Weight: 195.5 grams
- Display: 6.32 inch gOLED with FHD + resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels)

Google Pixel Fold: A new foldable phone from Google

Google announced its first foldable phone, the Google Pixel Fold, at the I/O 2023 Developers Conference. The Pixel Fold is a book-style foldable phone with a 7.6-inch internal display and a 6.2-inch external display. It is powered by Google’s Tensor chip and runs Android 14.
In addition to the Pixel Fold, Google is also rumored to be working on a clamshell foldable phone similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. This phone is said to have a 6.7-inch internal display and a 2.1-inch external display. It is expected to be powered by Google’s Tensor chip and run Android 14.
It is unclear when either of these phones will be released. However, Google’s entry into the foldable phone market is a sign that the category is becoming increasingly popular.
Google is rumored to be working on a clamshell version of the Pixel Flip folding phone. The phone is expected to be released in 2024 and will be powered by the Tensor G3 chip. It is also expected to be more affordable than the Pixel Fold, which costs $1,799.
The clamshell design is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Motorola Razr 5G. This design allows the phone to be folded in half and opened like a book. The Pixel Flip is currently the only foldable phone from Google. It was released in 2022 and has a starting price of $999.
The Tensor G3 chip is the successor to the Tensor G2 chip that powers the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The Tensor G3 chip is expected to be more powerful and efficient than the Tensor G2 chip.
The Pixel Flip clamshell foldable phone is expected to be a more affordable option for consumers who want a foldable phone. The phone is also expected to be more compact and portable than the Pixel Fold.
Other foldable phones have larger secondary screens, so it’s unclear how big the Pixel Flip’s will be.

Google Chrome browser now corrects URLs automatically

Google announced today that, as part of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), it will introduce automatic URL error correction for the desktop version of the Chrome browser. Additionally, they mentioned plans to extend this feature to mobile devices in the coming months.
In Chrome, when you type a wrong URL, it will alert you if there’s a spelling error. If you enter an incorrect web address in Chrome, the browser will notify you about any spelling mistakes. Chrome will let you know if there’s a spelling error in the URL you entered, helping you avoid mistakes while browsing.
Google’s latest feature aims to assist individuals with dyslexia, language learners, and occasional typists by helping them identify and rectify errors in URLs. This feature ensures that they can easily access the intended websites without any confusion or mistakes.
