Huawei Smartwatches with HarmonyOS 3.0

Huawei officially launched its HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system in July 2022. The company sent beta updates of this system to eligible smartphones and smartwatches shortly after its release. The question now is which Huawei smartwatches will receive this update, so here is a list of smartwatches that are compatible with HarmonyOS 3.0.

So far, Huawei has been testing the HarmonyOS 3.0 features on the Huawei Watch 3 and Huawei Watch GT 3 series. As a result, it is clear that the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro have this system. On the other hand, all Watch GT 3 models are also compatible with HarmonyOS 3.0. Apart from that, the Huawei Watch D is also competing in this race, but the company has yet to share any official information about whether or not the wristwatch is compatible with this system.

Aside from that, older generation smartwatches such as the Huawei Watch GT 2, Watch GT 2 Pro, and others have not received the HarmonyOS 3.0 major update. Last year, some reports claimed that the Watch GT 2 series would receive the HarmonyOS 2.0 update, but this did not occur. As a result, we anticipate that Huawei’s older smartwatches will not receive this significant update.

These Huawei smartwatches will get the HarmonyOS 3.0 update:

  1. Huawei Watch 3 (In beta testing)
  2. Huawei Watch 3 Pro (In beta testing)
  3. Huawei Watch GT 3
  4. Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro
  5. Huawei Watch GT 3 Porsche Design
  6. Huawei Watch GT 2022 Collector’s Edition
