If Huawei is not banned in the US, it could be the best smartphone company like Apple, there is no Samsung

Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, reflected on the events of three years ago, claiming that without American “interference,” the smartphone industry would be quite different now, with Apple and Huawei as the leading producers.
The remark made by Richard Yu is most puzzling because it leaves out Samsung, who is currently leading the market and was at the time the US commercial ban was in effect.
The other telephony companies, like Samsung, whose handsets “may be sold primarily in the United States and South Korea,” appear to be simply “minor producers” in the eyes of the Chinese executive.
