Samsung Galaxy Note 20 getting new security patch update for unlocked models in the US [September 2022]

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 smartphone was launched in the month of August 2020, As per the specification features the Galaxy Note 20 is one of the most powerful devices in the market. Now come to the point, the US users of the Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra smartphones have started receiving the security patch September 2022 update. This update brings improvements to the stability of system functions for increased device performance and fixes bugs.

The new update for the Galaxy Note 20 comes with firmware version N98xU1UEU3FVI5. This is rolling out for carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra on all major US carrier networks, including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile. The update brings with it the September 2022 security patch that fixes over 24 privacy and security vulnerabilities.

This new update brings the September 2022 security patch that will fix over 24+ privacy and security vulnerabilities. The update may also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements. Galaxy Note 20 series phones may get the update in the next few weeks in more countries around the Globe.

The international LTE and 5G versions of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra have also received the October 2022 security patch. It is expected to arrive on carrier-locked and unlocked variants of both devices in a few weeks from now.
