Before going into the details of new updates, we remind you that, in general, the One UI 4.1 includes the enhanced integration of Google Duo in the system, with the possibility of sharing the screen of some apps during video calls (such as Gallery and Samsung Notes), the Expert Raw app, improvements for Object Eraser, for sharing photos (also with Quick Share) and for various apps (such as Gallery, SmartThings, Smart Switch, Samsung Health ), the arrival of Grammarly all internal keyboard (English only), the ability to customize the size of the virtual RAM, new actions for Bixby Routines and much more. The fix for the GOS issue is not missing, for which Samsung has recently apologized.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, Tab S7 FE, Tab S6, Tab S6 Lite receiving One UI 4.1 update:
The One UI 4.1 significant upgrade based on the Android 12 operating system has already been released for the devices stated above, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, and Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite are started receiving the same update.

In the case of Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and Tab S6 Lite, One UI 4.0 was expressly mentioned; the same speech had been made a few days earlier for Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE in the absence of confirmations on version 4.1. Now all three models can count on the latest release:
1. The stable One UI 4.1 for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is available in Europe starting from Germany (DBT) and the T865XXU5DVC3 build is for the 4G variant and includes the security patches of February 2022.
2. The stable One UI 4.1 for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is available in Europe starting from France and the P615XXU4EVC5 build is for the 4G variant (SM-P615) and includes the security patches of March 2022.
3. The stable One UI 4.1 for Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE is available with the build T736BXXU1BVC2, specific for the global 5G variant (SM-T736B) and including the security patches of February 2022.

Now, in a noteworthy move, Samsung is expanding its DIY repair support to include its foldable models, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. This means users will soon have the option to tackle repairs at home, marking a shift in Samsung’s approach to empower users in maintaining and fixing their foldable devices.
This development follows Google’s recent introduction of DIY repair options for its Pixel Fold, though it’s worth noting that repair parts for the Pixel Fold can be relatively expensive, such as the inner screen alone costing $900. Huawei’s big boss just hinted at exciting new things for their software in 2024! Expect fresh products built on their latest HarmonyOS NEXT system.
During the Fan Club (Pollen) Annual Conference 2023, Yu Chengdong announced that Huawei plans to reveal several advanced products next year. He also predicted the launch of HarmonyOS NEXT products and improved native application experiences in 2024.
The CEO didn’t share when exactly the new software and native applications would be released, but we can anticipate the official reveal to happen in early 2024.
Huawei needs to make HarmonyOS fully independent and essential without relying on Android libraries soon. Hopefully, the company will speed up its efforts in the coming days.
