According to the recent report, the popular social media platform Telegram is now working to provide new features for users. As per the information, Telegram will soon release a new upgrade that would enable message reactions on your smartphone or smartwatch.
The reactions are a quick and easy method to convey a viewpoint on material, whether it’s a social media post or a chat message, and Telegram is trying to include them.

The most recent innovation isn’t exactly revolutionary, but it will be well received by many users: Telegram is working on introducing message reactions. The replies were found in a screen recording involving the beta version of Telegram for iOS. They have previously been seen on social networks like Facebook, chat services like Messenger, and more recently on instant messaging apps like WhatsApp.
The video below was published on Reddit and displays the option to select from a predefined list of 11 emojis (each with its unique animation), including thumbs up, thumbs down, heart, laughter, sobbing, and more.
The reactions are expected to be a very valuable and exploitable function in the channels and Telegram groups, where administrators will be able to see the authors of each reaction and, more importantly, will be able to disable them entirely or only make certain of them useable.
How can I update Telegram on my Android device?
As explained in the previous paragraph, at this moment the reactions to the messages have been found only in the beta of Telegram for iOS, still, nothing to do for the Android counterpart. Now, in a noteworthy move, Samsung is expanding its DIY repair support to include its foldable models, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. This development follows Google’s recent introduction of DIY repair options for its Pixel Fold, though it’s worth noting that repair parts for the Pixel Fold can be relatively expensive, such as the inner screen alone costing $900. During the Fan Club (Pollen) Annual Conference 2023, Yu Chengdong announced that Huawei plans to reveal several advanced products next year. He also predicted the launch of HarmonyOS NEXT products and improved native application experiences in 2024.
The CEO didn’t share when exactly the new software and native applications would be released, but we can anticipate the official reveal to happen in early 2024.
Huawei needs to make HarmonyOS fully independent and essential without relying on Android libraries soon. Hopefully, the company will speed up its efforts in the coming days.
