These 141 Huawei devices have got the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system
According to the current report, 141 Huawei devices have received the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system in the time span from June 02, 2021, till now. This is quite a big achievement for the Chinese tech Huawei, cause such a huge number has been established only in China. On the other hand, global users are yet to get a taste of HarmonyOS 2.0.
The 141 Huawei and Honor devices include smartphones, tablets and smart TVs. In this large number, 135 Huawei and Honor devices have received the stable HarmonyOS 2.0 update and only 6 devices are running in the beta software update which will also get the stable version in the near future.
If we talk about it, giving a huge number of software updates in one half of a year is a significant deal, but Huawei has done a good job with the HarmonyOS 2.0 upgrade for its older devices. Let’s have a look at the devices that are compatible with HarmonyOS 2.0.
As per the sharing device list, 135 models have received the stable update of HarmonyOS 2.0 including Huawei Mate 40, Huawei nova 8 5G, Huawei Maimang 9 5G, Huawei MatePad Pro, Huawei Smart Screen V75 Super, Honor V30, Honor 9, Honor Tablet 6 10.1 inches, and many other devices.

Furthermore, the Huawei Nova 8SE Active Edition, Huawei Tablet M5 Youth Edition 10.1 inches, Huawei Tablet M5 Youth Edition 8-inch, Huawei Enjoy Tablet 10.1 inches, Honor Tablet 5 8-inches, and Honor Tablet 5 10.1 inches are the six models selected for public testing.

During the Fan Club (Pollen) Annual Conference 2023, Yu Chengdong announced that Huawei plans to reveal several advanced products next year. He also predicted the launch of HarmonyOS NEXT products and improved native application experiences in 2024.
The CEO didn’t share when exactly the new software and native applications would be released, but we can anticipate the official reveal to happen in early 2024.
Huawei needs to make HarmonyOS fully independent and essential without relying on Android libraries soon. Hopefully, the company will speed up its efforts in the coming days.

Huawei has announced a new rollout schedule for HarmonyOS 4 in Q1 2024, as several smartwatches are still waiting for the major software update.
Huawei released HarmonyOS 4 in early August, with new features and capabilities. The company initially announced a beta program for the Huawei Watch 4 series and completed the stable rollout to all users on November 1st.
The Huawei Watch GT 4 is the first Huawei smartwatch to come with HarmonyOS 4 pre-installed. Customers of this wearable get all of the new features out of the box. The latest super-premium Watch Ultimate Design still runs HarmonyOS 3, but it will also be updated to HarmonyOS 4 in Q1 2024.
Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro, which are relatively new, will receive the HarmonyOS 4 upgrade. This includes special edition and limited edition smartwatches as well. You can check the full list of eligible smartwatches getting this update in early 2024.
