Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro users are now able to use the Petal Maps application
All Huawei smartphone users are well aware of the Petal Maps application and this app is a type of program that offers all of the same features as Google Maps. Users of Huawei smartwatches such as the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro can also utilize this app from their wrist. The Petal Maps app was the first available on the Huawei Watch 3 series.
Now, the Chinese tech giant Huawei has started the Petal Maps services for the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro users. The Huawei Watch 3 series is based on HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system but the Watch GT 2 Pro users are not yet able to get this version. Despite this, the company brings the Petal Maps for the Watch GT 2 Pro owners.
If you’re not sure how to get it, head to the Health app’s applications section and search for Petal Maps, then install it. After installing the app on your watch, it will open immediately for each route you create and begin giving directions on the watch. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on in order for this functionality to work.

WHAT IS THE HUAWEI PETAL MAPS?
Petal Maps is a type of program that offers all of the same features as Google Maps. Because Huawei has not accepted any Google services, the company developed Petal Maps for their smart devices. This application currently has control over 140 countries and regions.
Petal Maps not only shows you your present position, allows you to browse the map, search for places, and save your favorites, but it also shows you real-time traffic conditions, events, and much more.

With a huge database of POIs, finding places is easier than ever – simply search for keywords to find places on the map. You can also touch the category icons under the search bar to find recommended places nearby, as well as add places to your favorites.
Navigation:
Real-time traffic data helps you choose a faster route and avoid traffic jams. The app quickly re-plans your route and re-estimates the arrival time whenever you stray from the recommended route.
Air gestures:
Allows you to switch between viewing the full route and the current section with air gestures for safer operations when driving.
