Security patch update rolling out for Galaxy S20 in the US [November 2021]

The update is rolling out to the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra with firmware version G98xU1UES2DUJ7 in the US. The new software is available on AT&T, Comcast, C-Spire, and Sprint’s networks in the country.

If you are a Galaxy S20 series smartphone user on any of the networks mentioned above, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software Update and tapping on Download and Install. You can also download it yourself from the latest firmware file from SAMmobile database.

The Galaxy S20 was launched early last year with Android 10-based One UI 2 software. It received the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update in December 2020 and will soon receive the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update.
