In the second week of this month, the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphone users received the first OxygenOS 11 open beta update which is based on the Android 11 operating system. For your knowledge, this is the last major update for OnePlus 6 smartphone users while the sources have informed that the OnePlus 6T could be compatible for the one more major update but not sure.

Now, OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 11 open beta 2 update for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphone users. The open beta 2 update is available for users of both the devices who installed the first version on their phone through the download link.
This second version will now reach your device via notification without a download link which you can install by going to Settings -> System -> System Updates -> Download and install.

If we talk about the changes, then this update optimizes the overheating problems which was earlier coming on downloading third-party applications. Apart from this, it will provide a more stable experience than before. In addition, the company has also fixed the camera issues and enhanced the connectivity of 5G Wi-Fi.
