Apple new 13 series, Apple’s iPhone 13/mini/Pro/Pro Max models have a first look
Apple is expected to release a new iPhone 13 series this fall. Foreign media AppleInsider has obtained four models of the new iPhone 13 series, namely iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone. 13 Pro Max, and made a design comparison with last year’s iPhone 12 series.
Since this is the “S” year, the new phone will not have many design changes. Apple tends to focus on performance, cameras, and other unique features.
AppleInsider said that the source of these models is the same as the channels in the past few years, and the previous ones are very accurate. These are based on the recent design drawings of the iPhone 13 series, and case manufacturers are already relying on these design drawings to mass-produce protective cases.
Apple uses the same screen size this time: 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple will cancel the 5.4-inch model from 2022, so the iPhone 13 mini may be the last chance to buy a small-screen iPhone.

In all models, you can see some changes to the TrueDepth camera system on the front of the phone. Apple has moved the handset to the top edge, leaving only the off-center camera.
This does not necessarily mean that the size of the bangs will change, as the recent rumors have said. Because these models have no actual screens and black glass on the front, it is impossible to accurately see the size of the bangs.

If you look at the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 12 mini side by side, they look almost identical. The only visible difference in appearance is the camera module. Apple placed the wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses diagonally instead of stacking them on top of each other. In addition, the physical size and button position is the same.

On the iPhone 13, you can see that Apple has begun to make some changes. The camera is the same as the iPhone 13 mini, which is placed diagonally, but other than that, there is no difference in size.

Apple moved the buttons on the side down slightly, probably to make it easier for users with small hands. Similarly, the mute switch and volume buttons have also been moved to the bottom. However, the SIM slot has moved up significantly.
The iPhone 13 Pro has the same button positions as the iPhone 13, but the camera is different. The camera bulge on the iPhone 13 Pro is significantly larger than that of the iPhone 12 Pro, and the size of the wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses appear larger.

This larger bump may be due to the ultra-wide-angle camera with improved autofocus. Since the wide-angle lens is also larger, this may suggest that the camera will also be improved.
It is worth noting that the telephoto lens of the iPhone 13 Pro maintains the same size. Therefore, two cameras are large and one is small. This seems to indicate that Apple gave the iPhone 13 Pro Max a more advanced telephoto lens, as did the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The largest model, iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Pro Max have the same button positions, but the SIM card slot has been moved up a bit.

The overall bulge of the camera is slightly larger than that of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which means that the protective case of the iPhone 12 Pro Max will not be suitable for new models. Apple has started rolling out the new firmware update for the AirPods 2, AirPods 3, AirPods Pro, AirPods Pro 2, and AirPods Max. The latest update comes in beta form and it bumps with the new build number 5B5040c.
Since WWDC in June, Apple has been providing beta firmware updates for AirPods. The beta firmware requires an iPhone running iOS 16, a Mac running macOS Ventura beta, Xcode 14, and suitable AirPods to install.
