We want some great changes with Samsung One UI 4.0 based on Android 12
Google is all set to launch its new operating system with the name of the Android 12. This new operating system has shown its first glimpse at the beginning of the year. Google has rolled out the three developer’s previews of the Android 12 for the pixel devices and now it has started rolling out on devices other than the Pixel devices.
Moreover, Google developers will soon start the beta form of the Android 12 and we are eagerly waiting for it. Once it will fully official, then the Korean tech giant Samsung will start pushing out its new operating version which we hope will come under the name of One UI 4.0.
In the meantime, no comment or instruction has been issued by the company on this matter but rumors and news suggest that the company will collaborate the One UI 4.0 with the Android 12. However, the company is still fully focused on its One UI 3.1 version and is engaged in its distribution.

As we all know the One UI 3.1 (latest OS version of Samsung) came with very modern features and perfect quality as well as smoothness but still there is scope for improvement everywhere.
We sincerely hope that the upcoming One UI 4.0 will launch with more powerful features compared to the One UI 3.1. Even then, looking at the three One UI version we have noticed things that we wish it would come with the upcoming Samsung One UI 4.0.
Hopefully! these things will come with the Samsung One UI 4.0:
1. We want some more helpful notifications with the One UI 4.0.
2. We haven’t seen the Vertical scrolling app drawer feature yet, which is what we wish it were.
3. We want A more useful Recents menu, which makes the device more convenient to use.
4. We have seen a lot of ads on in the old One UI which we no longer want at all in the upcoming One UI 4.0. (No more ads)
5. We would love it! when we will see a more functional power menu on the One UI 4.0.
SAMSUNG ONE UI 4.0/RELEASE DATE:
Now according to the rumors and news, once Google will launch its new operating system- Android 12, then the Korean tech giant Samsung will launch its new operating version- One UI 4.0. So accordingly, the upcoming Android skin which is developed by Samsung will launch in September or October this year.
As usual, after its launch, the company will provide this Android skin in the beta form then it will rolling out in the stable form to the Samsung devices.

The Self-Repair program will provide users with access to parts and guides for fixing their devices at home. Until now, Samsung mainly provided DIY repair options for its regular smartphones, tablets, and laptops. However, when it came to the more intricate foldable models like the Galaxy Fold and Flip, the company limited users to professional repair services due to the complexity of these devices.
Now, in a noteworthy move, Samsung is expanding its DIY repair support to include its foldable models, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. This means users will soon have the option to tackle repairs at home, marking a shift in Samsung’s approach to empower users in maintaining and fixing their foldable devices.
This development follows Google’s recent introduction of DIY repair options for its Pixel Fold, though it’s worth noting that repair parts for the Pixel Fold can be relatively expensive, such as the inner screen alone costing $900. Samsung is making its Self-Repair program available to more people around the world. Huawei’s big boss just hinted at exciting new things for their software in 2024! Expect fresh products built on their latest HarmonyOS NEXT system.
During the Fan Club (Pollen) Annual Conference 2023, Yu Chengdong announced that Huawei plans to reveal several advanced products next year. He also predicted the launch of HarmonyOS NEXT products and improved native application experiences in 2024.
The CEO didn’t share when exactly the new software and native applications would be released, but we can anticipate the official reveal to happen in early 2024.
Huawei needs to make HarmonyOS fully independent and essential without relying on Android libraries soon. Hopefully, the company will speed up its efforts in the coming days.
Many app developers, such as Alipay, McDonald’s, HiPaint, Bank of Communications, and others, have joined native app development for HarmonyOS. The goal is to create a strong app ecosystem independent of Android and iOS.
Huawei is set to offer HarmonyOS-based courses, with approval for 55 projects and over 10 universities planning to launch these courses soon.
Huawei plans to introduce apps in more than 18 categories, focusing on digital and financial sectors. According to Yu Chengdong, these native HarmonyOS applications aim to be smoother, smarter, safer, and more comprehensive compared to iOS and Android.
