Huawei will release a large scale of HarmonyOS 2.0 in June 2021

As we know that, Huawei is great working on its new operating version HarmonyOS and the HarmonyOS world’s third-largest os after Android or iOS. According to the report, the company will push the HarmonyOS 2.0 large distribution in the month of June this year.

In terms of software partners, Huawei has selected the top 200 manufacturers in the Chinese application market to use. It has now confirmed that about 70% of the initial cooperation has been established.

It is expected that the cooperation will be further expanded with the planned push of the Hongmeng system. Relevant partners will usher in opportunities.

In the month of April 2021, Huawei has released its beta testing program for Huawei consumers and some users have received the HarmonyOS 2.0 developer public beta. The official description shows that HarmonyOS is a new generation of an intelligent terminal operating system, which provides a unified language for the intelligence, interconnection and collaboration of different devices.

Recent news suggests that the Huawei Pura 70 series flagship lineup has started adapting to HarmonyOS NEXT. While the company has not yet made an official announcement, a new tip has shed light on this development, revealing significant details.

According to @FixedFocus, the adaptation has begun, with some development feedback appearing on the official community. It appears the flagship lineup is nearing the completion of this adaptation.

Huawei Unveils HarmonyOS NEXT Beta at HDC 2024

At the HDC 2024 event, Huawei introduced the HarmonyOS NEXT beta. The company also initiated developer beta testing for three major devices: the Mate 60 Pro, the Mate X5 foldable, and the MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet.

Despite the focus on premium models, Pura 70 smartphones are also included in the HarmonyOS NEXT developer beta testing. Initially, the official timeline indicated that this lineup would receive the developer beta in August.

Huawei has already started adapting HarmonyOS NEXT for the Pura 70 series, with the process now underway for these top-end handsets.

Apart from the Pura devices, the roadmap includes the Pocket 2 series, MatePad Pro 11 2024, and FreeBuds Pro 3 in the beta list for August. Huawei may soon start software adaptation for these models.

The Pura 70 series is preparing for the HarmonyOS NEXT beta version, with the stable build expected in Q4 2024 as part of the first batch of devices.

The tipster previously reported that the HarmonyOS NEXT public beta development is complete and has entered stability testing for device compatibility. Huawei may soon start this testing with the Pura 70 models.

The Pura 70 series, which came with HarmonyOS 4.2 and AI features, includes four models with triple-lens cameras for enhanced photography. It will be interesting to see how the new software improves the device’s performance.
