Honor 20S is the first smartphone to receive the April 2021 Patch
Honor has become the first smartphone brand to compete with Huawei that has sent the April 2021 security patch update to its smartphone. In this line-up Honor 20S also become the first device that has got this security patch update.
Moving forward this update is available in the Chinese market and it is based on Magic UI 3.1 aka Huawei’s Emotion UI- EMUI 10.1. According to the changelog, this patch has increased your smartphone security level as well as includes 17 High levels and 69 Medium levels of CVE’s.

Huawei P Smart 2021 getting the August 2022 Security Patch
Huawei has started releasing the August 2022 security patch update for the Huawei P Smart 2021 smartphone. The latest update is based on EMUI 10.1 operating version and now it is available for users.
To be mentioned, the Huawei P Smart 2021 is still running on EMUI 10.1, which is two versions behind the latest EMUI 12, and the company has yet to release the EMUI 12 features to users. However, the security patch update improves your device’s security and resolves some lag issues.
The device users can now update to the latest build, 10.1.1.263, which is based on EMUI 10.1 and has a 302MB installation size, so you can use the Wi-Fi network over your local device data. It is also required for your device, so update it as soon as possible.

Huawei MatePad T8 receiving February 2022 security patch update
The Chinese tech giant Huawei is constantly providing updates to its devices whether it is determined by HarmonyOS 2.0 or EMUI. However Huawei’s new self-developed operating system HarmonyOS 2.0 has gotten a lot of attention, but other Huawei smartphones running previous versions of EMUI have also received the monthly firmware update.

Huawei Y8p is getting January 2022 Security Patch Update Based on EMUI
Huawei has started rolling out the new firmware update for the Huawei Y8p smartphone users. The latest update is based on Huawei’s Emotion – UI EMUI 10.1 and the device users now receive the new build number 10.1.0.211.
The latest software update for the Huawei Y8p smartphone has come with a new January 2022 security patch that protects your device from unknown bugs and other threats.
