OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 5 rolling out for the OnePlus Nord
OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 5 update for the OnePlus Nord users with some improvements and fixes known issue bugs. On the other side, one said news out for the OnePlus 6 series users.
The OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphone users won’t receive the OxygenOS 11 open beta update until August or September this year. Now back to the OnePlus Nord, recently the company has released the OxygenOS stable version for the Nord users but the users have facing lots of issues, then the company has re-released this version but that also comes with some issues and it won’t provide more stable experience.
The company has learned about this problem and started one more update form under the beta version. In this update, users have not received any features but experience some improvements like camera-related issues, the issue due to which users encountered frame drops while recording videos, and improvements like detecting wireless networks, able to connect to a WiFi network faster, and bug fixes camera performance. Please note:
- If you have already flashed an Open Beta (you are currently running the latest Open Beta), you will receive this new build as an OTA.
- If you are not running open beta software and would like to, please refer to the flashing instructions and the full ROM on the downloads page here.
- Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will no longer receive the regular Official Stable OTAs.
- Moving back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a full install and clean flash (full wipe of all data and cache).
