In addition, the corporation only sends new features to users via OTA (over-the-air). Huawei has always been at the forefront of monthly security patches, which means that all Huawei devices that are eligible have received fresh firmware with some enhancements and new features.

Recently, the Chinese tech giant has officially started rolling out the new EMUI 12 major update for its global variant and in China, Huawei users are keep receiving the new firmware which is based on the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system while the upgraded version of this system – HarmonyOS 3.0 will soon hit the market.
