Code-named Gauguin Xiaomi’s new mid-extend phone enters the organization: the principle camera arrives at (108 mp) 100 million pixels

Today, Xiaomi’s new model M2007J17C has obtained network access permission.
The blogger @数码闲聊站 broke the news that this new Xiaomi phone is code-named Gauguin and the main camera is 100 million pixels (108MP). This will be Xiaomi’s cheapest 100 million pixel phone.
Judging from the news, this 100 million pixel phone may belong to the Redmi brand. If it is a new Redmi phone, it will be Redmi’s first 100 million pixel phone.
At present, Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi CC9 Pro and other models all use 100 million pixels, and the main camera is jointly developed by Samsung and Xiaomi. It has a sensor area of 1/1.33 inches, and the photosensitive area is a full 48 million Sensor. Twice as much.
The so-called “the bottom of the big one crushes people”, the larger the sensor size, the larger the photosensitive area, the more photons captured, the better the photosensitive performance, and the better the imaging effect.
In addition to 100 million pixels, the biggest suspense about this machine is the specific model.
The new product that has not yet been released by the Redmi brand is the Redmi Note 10 series, so the new machine is easily reminiscent of the Redmi Note 10 series.
Previously, the new Redmi model M2007J22C entered the network, and it was considered to be Redmi Note 10. Therefore, it is speculated that the model M2007J17C may be Redmi Note 10 Pro .
The new machine is expected to debut around October.

Ascend 910C: Huawei to ship big next month.

Huawei’s new AI chip, Ascend 910 C, is reportedly going into mass consignment next month. A recent report indicate this move is to provide Chinese customers with preference to Nvidia’s H20.
According to Reuters, Huawei Ascend 910 C will enter the mass purchase phase as early as May. The company will begin distributing its latest AI chip on a large scale on its home turf, as the US is blocking Navida H2o sale in China.
The Ascend 910C erupted in August 2024. Reports indicated that Huawei had been secretly testing this new AI chip to rival Nvidia in China’s AI industry.
They also gave samples of the new chip to big tech companies in China and began taking orders. This helps Huawei become a bigger player in AI and challenge Nvidia’s customer base.
The Ascend 910C is also part of the Deep Seek R1 system and is reported to get about 60% of the inference performance of an Nvidia H100.It looks like Huawei is now ready to start shipping large amounts of this new AI processor to take the place of Nvidia’s H20.
Reports show Huawei has already made some shipments of the Ascend 910 C AI. The fact that the US placed new chip controls on Nvidia, blocking their H20 sales in China, was good news for Chinese AI businesses.
The Trump administration has made it so that Nvidia has to have a $5.5 billion export license to send H20 chips to China. Read more here.
For the Ascend 910C, Huawei improved the design instead of changing the technology. They took two 910B chips and put them together in one package using advanced tech. This means the new chip has twice the processing power and memory, plus some minor upgrades and support for various AI.

August is now a possible time for the Huawei Pura 80 series to be released. These are expexted to be really good phones, but we do not now the exact launch date. Someone thought it might be in May, but it seems like we will have to wait until later.
Weibo tipster @FixedFocus suggested that the Huawei Pura 80 series launch may shift to June-August. The programmer was expected to debut next month or by june.
We might have to wait a little longer for the new Huawei Pura phones because the company wants to make them perfect.
The tipster further disclose that Huawei can release the Nova 14 series next month. for the moment, the Mate 80 series smartphones may also get delayed this year.
We originally heard that the Huawei Mate 80 would be released in the fourth quarter of 2025. But with the latest news suggesting delays, the launch of these new Mate phones could be postponed even further.
Huawei has not said anything official about these rumors. One possible reason for the Pura 80 delay is that they are trying to make the hardware and software the best they can be. Since these phones will to be expected have the final version of HarmonyOS 5, Huawei might be making extra changes to make sure everything works excellently.
People are also saying that Huawei is working on their own parts for the Pura 80 phones. For example, the Pura 80 Ultra might have a super big, 1-inch camera. These cool new features could be another reason why the release might be delayed
Last year, Huawei disclosed the Pura 70 series under the develop Program. Despite the fact that the company may launch the new Pura handsets at a grand launch event this year.
